Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
Do you have sleep sofas?
A:
Yes! Many of our sofa styles are available as sleep sofas. Click to your desired style and look at the pricing to determine if available.
Q:
How do I know that this is the best leather available?
A:
All Leather Furniture South pieces are entirely
upholstered in only the finest top grain leather
available. We use no vinyl, split grain hides or
heavy corrected leathers; therefore we are able
to offer our limited
lifetime warranty against cracking, chipping,
peeling and tearing. Beware, products with lesser
warranties may well be of lesser quality as well.
Q:
How long can I expect my leather furniture to last?
A:
Industry standards suggest that quality top grain
leather will outlast fabric upholstery at least
4:1; couple that with our lifetime
construction and you have a piece that
you will enjoy for years to come.
Q:
We have small children as well as pets. Is leather
a good choice for us?
A:
Most definitely! Aside from being the most durable
upholstery material on earth, our Lifestyle
and Lifestyle Plus leathers offers good spill
and scratch resistance and even easy soap and water
cleaning.
Q:
Will my leather be hot in the summer and cold in
the winter?
A:
Leather is natures own upholstery material
and therefore breathes; it will adjust quickly
to your body temperature. Inferior, over-processed
leathers are essentially sealed and retain both
heat and cold.
Q:
What happens if I were to cause damage to my leather?
A:
The durability of top grain leather is such that
things like keys, combs, pens, and screwdrivers
will not accidentally puncture your leather. The
more likely occurrence is that a sharp or abrasive
object can scratch your leather. A qualified leather
repair technician can easily repair damage to your
top grain hide. Contact our customer service department
for a referral in your area.
Q:
Shopping for leather furniture is confusing; how
can I be sure Im making the best choice?
A:
Leather furniture, much like any other product
you purchase has a wide range of quality or lack
thereof available. Probably the best way to gauge
the quality of a product is to determine how the
manufacturer of that product feels about it. Look
at how each aspect of the product is warranted,
such as the frame, springs, seat cushions and leather.
